Oregon auto accident results in fatality

By Marc A. Johnston, posted in Wrongful Death on October 8, 2013

The crash occurred when a Toyota Tacoma was driving in Marion County. The Tacoma rear-ended a Ford Thunderbird that was waiting to make a turn. The impact from this rear-end collision caused the Thunderbird to hit a Toyota Prius that was traveling in the opposing lane.

One of the occupants of the Prius was killed in the wreck, and five others suffered injuries of varying levels of severity.

Losing a loved one to a car accident can be an incredibly traumatic experience for a family. In such tragic times, financial matters might be the last thing on a family’s mind. However, the death of a loved one can have significant and lasting financial impacts.

If a family has suffered a death of a loved one in a car accident, they should consider speaking to an experienced personal injury attorney. A family that has suffered such a loss may have options available to them to pursue financial relief. For example, they may be able to pursue a wrongful death claim in relation to the accident.
