We are experienced and successful at representing our personal injury clients. We typically handle your personal injury case on a contingency. We will attempt to settle your case with the insurance company before filing a lawsuit. If the insurance company’s offer is unacceptable, we will file a lawsuit. We will fully investigate your case and will be prepared to go to trial if necessary. Many personal injury attorneys today either fear going to trial, or will make excuses as to why you should take an unreasonable settlement offer. Although we consider all the factors prior to settlement, insurance companies know to expect more from us. As a result, your case will be worth more because the insurance companies know that we are prepared to take your case to trial if necessary.

Handling Your 
Insurance Denial Claim

Like clockwork, insurance companies will most likely deny your claim. But our firm knows the insurance policy better than your insurer. In Oregon, if an insurer fails to pay a claim within six months, you are entitled to collect attorney fees if you prevail against the insurer at trial (ORS 742.061). In some cases, we will take an insurance denial claim on a contingency. Other times, we request an hourly fee. In either case, your case will be positioned for maximum effectiveness; the insurance company will have to choose whether to pay your claim, or risk paying all of your attorney fees if you prevail at trial. Oregon juries are generally not sympathetic to insurers who make excuses for not paying valid claims.
